La Permanence, a co-working space with three locations in the Paris region, needed a reliable way to manage video surveillance across its sites. Their original cloud-based, WiFi-camera system was difficult to use, not scalable, and made it time-consuming to access footage remotely; they also wanted better oversight of access control events. La Permanence turned to Eagle Eye Networks and its Eagle Eye Cloud VMS.
Eagle Eye Networks implemented a camera-agnostic cloud video surveillance solution using Eagle Eye Cloud VMS with 22 IP cameras and an Eagle Eye Bridge 304, giving La Permanence faster remote access to footage and a more manageable system across all three locations. The new setup improved scalability and helped the team monitor access events more effectively, though the case study does not provide specific numerical performance metrics beyond a 7-day retention period.
