Sport Clips, a nationwide haircare franchise, was plagued by frequent DVR failures, hard-to-access footage, and exposed on-site DVRs that were often unplugged behind salon counters—creating safety and security gaps across its company-owned locations. To modernize and secure video operations, Sport Clips partnered with reseller Blue Iron Sentinel and vendor Eagle Eye Networks to deploy a cloud-based surveillance solution, including the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS along with Bridges and managed PoE switches.

Blue Iron Sentinel implemented a ceiling-mounted Eagle Eye Networks cloud video system that delivers centralized, 24/7 video access, automatic offline-camera alerts, and simpler sharing with leadership and authorities. The move eliminated recurring DVR replacement and maintenance costs, improved stylist safety and countertop clutter, and is expected to save Sport Clips roughly $150K (up to $150–200K) over three years; Eagle Eye Networks’ solution is now the recommended VMS for all 1,850+ U.S. franchise locations.
