The City of Elche in Spain was undergoing a digital transformation but faced challenges managing security incidents with complex IT systems. When the pandemic forced city employees to work remotely, it became difficult for staff to monitor and respond quickly to incidents. Eagle Eye Networks helped address these needs with its cloud-based video surveillance platform.

Eagle Eye Networks and reseller Aryse Global Services reused the city’s existing cameras from multiple manufacturers and moved 100 cameras to the cloud using Eagle Eye Networks Cloud VMS. The new system improved remote access, city-wide visibility, alerts, sharing with police and other departments, and easier maintenance while meeting storage requirements. The city also plans to expand to more than 250 cameras over five years and use AI for incident investigation, parking, traffic flow analysis, and faster emergency response.
