Capital Factory, a membership organization that supports Austin tech startups, needed a reliable way to protect members’ property, deter petty theft and misuse of shared space, and perform quick forensic video searches. They selected Eagle Eye Networks and deployed the Eagle Eye Security Camera VMS with Axis cameras because the system stores encrypted video off-site for added security and privacy.

Eagle Eye Networks installed 14 cameras across two floors and provided browser/phone access, grouped camera views, motion detection and user permission controls. The system enabled fast forensic searches that identified the person involved in the “Great Bean Bag Caper” and tracked who brought a table into the space over a long weekend; it has also served as a deterrent to minor infractions (fewer dishes left in sinks) and given members greater peace of mind.
