Cameron Oil, a Houston-based provider of flow equipment and services to the global oil, gas and process industries, needed to equip remote sites with multiple cameras, enable mobile viewing and video analytics, and operate reliably over low or unreliable bandwidth. To meet these requirements they turned to Eagle Eye Networks and selected the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS along with Eagle Eye CMVR hardware.

Eagle Eye Networks deployed Eagle Eye Cloud VMS with two CMVR models (CMVR 320 and CMVR 620) that provide local RAID storage and cloud backup—allowing reliable recording and remote access even at low bandwidth. The solution was rolled out across 4 U.S. locations with 48 IP cameras (Eagle Eye Networks, Axis, Hikvision) and 14-day retention. By combining local and cloud storage (Eagle Eye CMVRs support 6–180 cameras and 1–50 TB RAID), Eagle Eye Networks delivered dependable surveillance, mobile viewing and analytics for Cameron Oil.
