Little Brownie Bakers - Customer Case Study

Little Brownie Bakers, the baker behind Girl Scout cookies, needed a way to help consumers find seasonal cookie sales during a limited annual window. EachScape, in partnership with tmg e-media, developed the Girl Scout Cookie Locator mobile app for iPhone and Android so users could search for nearby sales, get directions, add events to calendars, share via social networks, and access cookie facts, videos and recipes.

EachScape implemented the app with a web admin tool for councils to update booth times/locations, launched a Spring 2011 pilot that generated more than 10× projected usage, and expanded nationally in 2012 with added features like video and Foursquare check‑ins. The app was downloaded over 250,000 times, earned national press and sustained off‑season engagement through branded content, and Little Brownie Bakers also rolled out administrative companion apps that processed more than 1 million transactions.
