Total Diabetes Supply, an online retailer of diabetes supplies, wanted to strengthen its affiliate marketing channel by increasing affiliate social interaction and improving publisher recruiting, activation and retention. The company engaged eAccountable to boost publisher communication and showcase new product offers to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
eAccountable deployed proprietary social media tools and managed the affiliate program beginning in July 2011, expanding into multiple networks and migrating the retailer from Google Affiliate Network to Commission Junction while launching new programs. The results were significant: comparable months in 2012 saw publisher channel increases of 83%–460%, an eight‑month average growth of 167%, year‑over‑year affiliate publisher sales up 316% (2011–2012), and an additional 80% growth in the first five months of 2013.
