HPS and its network of pharmacies – Creating a 100% compliant workforce

HPS Pharmacies, a network of more than 400 employees delivering pharmacy services to hospitals and other facilities across Australia, faced an inconsistent, offline manager-led induction process that could take up to a week, left staff using outdated policies, and made compliance tracking difficult. To standardise and streamline onboarding, HPS engaged e3Learning to deliver an online induction and compliance program using its LearnForce Learning Management System and customised courseware.

e3Learning implemented a custom-branded portal, a bespoke HPS induction module plus four compliance titles from its library, and automated tracking, certificates and refresher training via LearnForce. The programme delivered clear results: by 29 November 2013 every HPS employee had completed the five mandatory modules (100% compliance), onboarding time dropped from a week to one–two days, induction costs met budget, employee satisfaction and safety awareness improved, and the solution was shortlisted for national awards.
