ARU – Staying Onside with Integrity Online

The Australian Rugby Union (ARU) faced the challenge of rapidly updating and delivering a wide range of modern policies—covering sports science, integrity, betting and drug testing—to players, medical staff, trainers, front-office personnel and third parties. In late 2014 ARU (with RUPA) selected e3Learning’s LearnForce platform, including the SitePass contractor management feature and the Learning Activity Builder, to replace slow, face-to-face and paper-based methods and respond to heightened scrutiny after a national sports science scandal.

e3Learning implemented a branded, device-friendly LearnForce portal that delivers self-paced learning, provides instant feedback, and lets managers monitor individual training histories and refreshers. The system now supports around 500 users (players, doctors, trainers, agents and staff), reduced reliance on classroom sessions, and improved compliance and awareness across the organisation—giving ARU clear oversight of who has completed what and allowing faster, more consistent rollout of integrity and policy training.
