Sending Medicines and Other Supplies Worldwide, Quickly and Cost-Efficiently with e2open

humedica e.V. is a Kaufbeuren, Germany–based humanitarian NGO (active since 1979, projects in 90 countries) that needed an efficient, easy-to-learn customs solution to comply with a growing number of country-specific electronic customs regulations, handle increasing transits through third-party countries, and operate a customs warehouse while remaining adaptable to future requirements.

Since 2009 e2open provided a free SaaS customs management solution (installation and training included), including Customs Filing, ATLAS support and a bonded warehouse module that helped humedica gain authorized consignor status. The result was faster, more controlled and cost-efficient customs declarations and clearance, multi-site inventory management across currencies/time zones, easier scaling, and quicker delivery of aid to crisis locations.
