Qatar Post, Qatar’s national postal operator since 1950 with 23 branches, launched a 2015 “Digital Qatar Post” transformation and needed to modernize mobile operations—both hardware and software—to meet demanding postal workflows and local climate conditions. Key requirements included item scanning and event capture, pickup/delivery list synchronization, proof of delivery, payment acceptance, navigation and routing, and address geotagging and validation.
Qatar Post selected e2open with regional partner DCS to deliver a scalable, end-to-end mobility and routing solution. The deployment introduced vehicle routing and scheduling, paperless mobile processes, real-time item-level visibility and operational analytics, resulting in faster delivery workflows, lower operating costs, better resource control and improved customer service and reputation.
