Environmental Management Services Company boosts water well data speed from minutes to seconds with E Tech Group

The Environmental Management Services Company, a provider of environmental services, faced frequent maintenance and operational problems due to outdated PLCs, HMIs, and slow serial radios across its eleven water well sites. This hampered productivity and limited scalability. To facilitate an expansion with a new water well, the company engaged E Tech Group for an integrated controls solution upgrade.

E Tech Group upgraded the legacy control system hardware, installing modern CompactLogix PLCs and PanelView terminals programmed with Studio5000 and FactoryTalk View. They integrated an Ignition Perspective SCADA system and replaced the serial radios with modern Ethernet radios, implementing a store-and-forward capability to resolve connectivity issues. The project was completed in a few months, resulting in real-time data availability on a per-second basis and the successful integration of a new water well. E Tech Group's solution significantly enhanced the system's speed and reliability, allowing the client to meet growing demands effectively.
