A e-Spirit Case Study
MAN Truck & Bus AG, a global commercial-vehicle manufacturer with 150 country websites in 30 languages, faced inconsistent look-and-feel and high effort from using many incompatible content systems. To create an integrated, centrally managed web presence and reduce editorial and IT workload, MAN chose e-Spirit’s FirstSpirit CMS with SAP NetWeaver portal integration as the standardized platform.
e-Spirit implemented FirstSpirit as the centralized CMS for the enterprise portal and all regional sites, giving roughly 200 contributors easy-to-use JavaClient and WebClient editors, reusable content, and template-driven pages. The solution delivered a uniform global brand presence, up to 50% faster time-to-market for new content, reduced IT dependency, lower training overhead, and measurable time and cost savings through content reuse.
