The City of San Diego required a solution to improve collaboration across its various departments and sought a full-service electronic plan review and permitting system. To overcome this challenge, they partnered with e-PlanSoft to implement a new platform that would allow all departments to work concurrently on projects.
e-PlanSoft implemented its eplansoft REVIEW™ solution, which enabled the city to expand electronic plan reviews from just photovoltaic permits to all permit types. This migration resolved past limitations, allowed for the processing of discretionary and ministerial projects, and successfully enabled all city departments to work collaboratively for an improved customer experience.
