City of Irvine saves millions with e-PlanSoft's cloud permit review

The vendor e-PlanSoft proposed an alternative digital solution using its cloud-based software to take permit and plan reviews online, thereby reducing the need for in-person visits and the associated parking demand.

e-PlanSoft implemented its digital plan review solution, which eliminated the need for physical submissions. This allowed the city to avoid the multi-million dollar cost of building a new parking structure. The results were highly successful, as the city was able to continue issuing permits and conducting inspections without interruption during the pandemic, for which it won several Digital City awards.
