The United States Coast Guard needed a better way to manage a highly diverse inventory of assets—from office equipment and IT gear to vessels, aircraft, and military property—while improving accountability, auditing, and check-in/check-out processes. It turned to E-ISG Asset Intelligence and its Visual Asset Manager (VAM) software to help streamline asset tracking and reduce misappropriation.

E-ISG Asset Intelligence implemented VAM with barcode scanners, a property pass manager, signature capture, and a DD1149 Asset Shipping Manifest API to create a secure chain of custody and track assets in real time.
