The challenge was to transform a rustic, lodge-style building into a bold and eclectic space that captured a specific retro spirit. The bank engaged the vendor A&E Design for architecture, interior design, and environmental graphic design services to achieve this vision.

A&E Design implemented a solution that fully embraced a groovy, 1970s-inspired theme. The renovated space features avocado green accents, lava lamps, psychedelic wall art, and custom gold chain curtains that create shifting light patterns. The immersive experience extends to every detail, including bathrooms with playful nods to icons like David Bowie. As a result, A&E Design helped Farmers State Bank create a banking environment that is as fun as it is functional, successfully proving that finance can be fashionable.
