The Vaillant Group, an international family-owned heating and cooling manufacturer, needed a faster and more accurate way to manage planned and unplanned absence. Before working with e-days, employees requested time off by phone or text, which made it difficult to check staffing levels, avoid clashes with other holidays, and reliably log sickness and leave.

e-days implemented leave tracking and absence management with automated minimum staffing level triggers, plus team calendars, notifications, reporting, and holiday booking. This reduced admin time, cut missed and unlogged absence requests, and gave managers an easy override for exceptions. The system was rolled out to 272 e-days users, helping Vaillant manage absence more efficiently and with fewer emails and manual checks.
