Informa, a leading international events, intelligence and scholarly research group, needed a better way to manage absence across a highly complex global organization. With multiple legal entities, different employment contracts, varying holiday allowances and absence rules, and a requirement to integrate seamlessly with SAP, Informa found its existing manual and HR system approaches were not robust enough. e-days provided an easy-to-use absence management solution, including holiday booking, sickness tracking, entitlement calculation, reporting, team calendars, and SAP HRIS integration.
e-days was selected through an RFP process and implemented a tailored global absence management system for Informa’s 5,000 employees in just 4 months. The rollout delivered a seamless integration with SAP and a more efficient, flexible absence management process across the business. The result was so successful that Informa became a reference customer for e-days, and the system now supports 5,200 users.
