A e-days Case Study
Dentons, the world’s largest law firm by employee count, needed a better way to manage planned and unplanned absence across its expanding UK operations. Its paper-based process was becoming unmanageable, with limited visibility into leave patterns, workload planning, and employee entitlement usage, so it turned to e-days leave tracking and absence management.
e-days implemented a user-friendly, self-service absence management system for Dentons, onboarding all UK staff and adding features such as holiday booking, sickness logging, overtime and TOIL tracking, team calendars, reporting, and payroll sickness triggers. The result was improved visibility and workload balancing, better support for flexible working and employee wellbeing, and data-driven insight into absence trends; Dentons now has 1,340 e-days users and is using the platform to help validate the impact of wellbeing initiatives and guide future HR decisions.
