A Dyntek Case Study
Babylon Union Free School District, serving about 1,600 students and 150 faculty across three schools in Long Island, NY, needed to overhaul its aging IT network to support district-wide WiFi for student tablets and security cameras for a safer campus. The district turned to Dyntek to replace an end-of-life Alcatel network that could no longer meet its technology and safety goals.
Dyntek delivered a full network rebuild over six weeks using a six-phase approach that included discovery, design, deployment, analysis, and testing. The upgrade added a 10GB backbone, Cisco switching and firewalls, Meraki wireless, Dell EMC servers and storage, Cisco ISE, and TACACS security management, helping Babylon transform its infrastructure and rebuild the entire network in less than two months.
