Coleg Cambria, created by a 2013 merger and serving over 27,000 students with 1,600 staff across seven sites, struggled with fragmented student and staff data across multiple systems and more than 100 managers. Its reporting and quality teams could produce detailed reports but found it time-consuming to tailor and distribute them, leaving managers working with out-of-date information and slowing decision-making.
The college rolled out Active Dashboards to senior leaders, curriculum staff and HR, mapping multiple data sources into intuitive, real‑time dashboards and scorecards that required little training. The solution sped up access to live performance and workforce data, increased transparency and staff engagement, supported targeted quality improvement, and helped workforce planning — contributing to a 13 percentage‑point improvement in hair & beauty learner success and about a 6% rise in long-course success while making reporting faster and more actionable.
