City of Glasgow College, one of Scotland’s largest further-education institutions with over 30,000 students and 1,200 staff, needed a simple, fast way to analyse course-level performance across its twin-site campus. Existing systems lacked up-to-date, detailed information for monitoring admissions, attendance, student engagement and attainment, making it hard for managers and tutors to spot trends and intervene early.

Dynistics’ Active Dashboards, implemented in August 2015, delivered real-time, drill-down reporting at course, curriculum, faculty and college levels—covering KPIs, attendance, questionnaire feedback and target-setting. Within six months 75% of teaching staff were using the tool; users reported quicker access to accurate data, earlier problem identification, improved retention and more effective target-setting and sharing of good practice, with plans to extend the dashboards to finance and HR.
