A Dynatrace Case Study
avodaq, a global IT services provider with a small, high-caliber development team, needed to migrate its services to a cloud-native, microservices architecture on Kubernetes to keep pace with faster innovation. The complexity of Kubernetes and limitations in its existing toolchain threatened to slow adoption and lengthen the path to value, creating a barrier to delivering new features quickly for its business and customers.
By combining Dynatrace with Keptn’s open-source control plane and leveraging Dynatrace’s AI (Davis), avodaq established full-stack observability and an intelligent, automated CI/CD pipeline with auto-remediation. The result was faster Kubernetes adoption (estimated at least a year sooner), an “unbreakable” release pipeline that prevents bad code reaching production, improved cross-team collaboration, and the ability to extend these capabilities to customers as a new service.
