TicketSwap uses Dynamsoft DBR to Validate Ticket Authenticity

TicketSwap, a consumer-to-consumer ticket resale platform, needed a reliable barcode scanning solution to validate ticket authenticity and prevent fraud. Their previous open-source tools were no longer maintained and struggled to accurately read a high volume of various barcode types, including damaged or distorted ones. To address this challenge, they turned to vendor Dynamsoft and implemented their Dynamsoft Barcode Reader (DBR) SDK.

The solution from Dynamsoft successfully read all necessary barcode symbologies, including PDF417 and AZTEC, which their previous solution could not handle. This implementation resulted in a scan rate increase from 90% to 100%, significantly reducing missed barcodes and false positives. The development process was efficient, taking less than a month, and Dynamsoft provided crucial cross-platform support to accommodate the team's development environment.
