PEC Technologies, a provider of custom software solutions, faced a challenge when their client, Frontier Truck Parts, needed to incorporate mobile barcode scanning into their inventory system. The warehouse and sales staff required a way to quickly and accurately capture QR codes on large truck parts using their mobile phones to eliminate time-consuming manual data entry and reduce costly picking and shipping errors. They turned to the vendor Dynamsoft to find a solution.

PEC Technologies implemented the Dynamsoft Barcode Reader SDK to create a web-based mobile scanning solution. The integration was completed in just two days and provided highly accurate barcode reading in warehouse conditions. The result was a dramatic increase in efficiency; staff can now scan parts upon arrival and during order fulfillment, which has completely eliminated manual errors and streamlined the entire inventory management process for Frontier Truck Parts.
