A.P.System Integrates Dynamic .Net Twain Into Its ERP Program

a.p.system, a leading Italian provider of the ERP program AziWin Eleva, needed to integrate document scanning capabilities directly into its software. The challenge was to enable customers to automatically scan and save important documents, like invoices and reports, directly into the application's SQL Server database. To meet this need, they turned to the vendor Dynamsoft and implemented its Dynamic .NET TWAIN SDK.

Dynamsoft's solution provided an easy-to-use component that was encapsulated into a class library for simple integration. The implementation allowed for automatic scanning, PDF creation, and database attachment of documents in a single step. The solution also included annotation tools for users to add notes. According to the customer, this new functionality, powered by Dynamsoft, has been vastly appreciated by end-users, saving them days of work each month by automating a previously manual process.
