The University of Oregon Foundation, which manages the university’s endowment, found its investment operations strained by disparate tools — an internal blog, Outlook and Excel — that couldn’t sustainably support investment research, fund manager due diligence, or tracking capital calls, distributions and transactions across more than 70 alternative investments.
