Florida Resort, a premier hospitality property in Florida, needed to consolidate its servers into a self-contained, portable unit that could be unplugged and moved quickly in the event of a disaster. Dynamix Group implemented a BladeCenter environment that reduced the resort’s server count from 22 to 9 and enabled rapid off-site recovery capability in minutes. The new setup simplified storage through iSCSI, lowered monthly maintenance costs, and delivered a 9 percent savings in total cost of ownership compared with the previous PC-server environment.
