Spaldings, a Lincolnshire‑based distributor serving over 28,000 agricultural and 6,000 groundcare customers in the UK and Ireland (part of the Marubeni Group, £27.5m turnover), faced the challenge of managing more than 10,000 products plus ongoing new product introductions. To centralize and streamline product data they adopted a Perfion PIM solution tightly integrated with their Dynamics NAV ERP and the Dynamicweb CMS, with Dynamicweb selected as the vendor for the broader e‑commerce/CMS platform.

Dynamicweb, together with Perfion, implemented a PIM‑centric solution and the Dynamicweb All‑in‑One Platform that stores information for both existing and not‑yet‑launched products, simplifying the move from development to production. The new setup automates catalogue and flyer production for Spaldings’ annual 10,000+ item catalogue (InDesign files update automatically when product data or images change) and empowers all relevant employees to manage product data directly, replacing an older, specialist‑only catalog system.
