A Dynamicweb Case Study
Savage Gear, the brand site developed by Svendsen Sport, needed a central content hub to strengthen its brand, convert social followers into direct relationships, and capture customer data ahead of a planned U.S. e-commerce launch. To meet this challenge they partnered with Dynamicweb, using Dynamicweb’s platform (including its built-in e-mail marketing module) to collect user preferences, sign-ups and behavioral data.
Dynamicweb delivered a raw, tabloid-style Savage Gear site with a members area, content-product cross-linking, and a “Wall Of Fame” competition to drive sign-ups and engagement. The site was built e‑commerce ready and uses Dynamicweb’s marketing tools to segment and target users; the effort converted social reach into nearly 20,000 email subscribers in the first 14 days and increased traffic and brand engagement, while leveraging roughly 3,000,000 social followers to fuel the Angling Hub.
