S4S, a retailer with 15 physical stores around Iceland’s capital, needed a simple, user-friendly ecommerce setup to offer a wide and diverse product range year‑round. In 2017 S4S moved its online business to Dynamicweb, consolidating three webshops (skor.is, ellingsen.is and air.is) on a single Dynamicweb instance and adding marketing-focused capabilities while ensuring live price and stock checks to Dynamics NAV.

Dynamicweb delivered a unified ecommerce solution with advanced product filters, cross‑sell/upsell lists, store‑level availability per variant, and NAV integration (Dynamicweb’s integration framework v1, adapted by Advania) that syncs data daily and performs live stock/price requests on page loads. As a result, S4S operates three of Iceland’s largest online stores from one Dynamicweb instance, has run ecommerce successfully for eight years, and continues to improve personalization for registered users via saved payment data, wishlists and targeted marketing.
