A Dynamicweb Case Study
Merrild Lavazza Denmark ApS, the Danish coffee company behind the Merrild and Lavazza brands, faced a challenge: roughly 130 products carried extensive, fragmented product information (bean type, roast, grind, certifications, machine specs) scattered across brochures, PowerPoints, PDFs and their ERP, making it hard to find the latest updates and forcing employees to spend excessive time compiling product data. To solve this for a new website build, they partnered with Dynamicweb and adopted a PIM solution on the Dynamicweb platform.
Dynamicweb implemented a fully integrated PIM that syncs with Microsoft Dynamics AX and serves as the single source of truth for product data, with predefined fields, working-document capabilities, and archived discontinued/seasonal items. The PIM now delivers all product data to Merrild Lavazza’s food-service website and will feed sales handbooks, price lists, brochures and an online shop; sales reps can pull offer-ready product data instantly, reducing administrative time and enabling more customer-facing activity. Dynamicweb’s setup also ensures a smooth future migration to SAP.
