Case Study: Lindab achieves streamlined self-service B2B ordering and major administrative savings with Dynamicweb

A Dynamicweb Case Study

Preview of the Lindab Case Study

Lindab B2B ecommerce with AX and product configuration for 35 subsidiaries in 31 countries

Lindab, an international steel products and systems company serving ventilation, building components and construction systems, needed to modernize its B2B webshop when its Danish unit moved to Dynamics AX. The goal was “exact customer service” through self-service capabilities and a proven, seamless integration with Dynamics AX, so Lindab chose Dynamicweb to deliver the upgraded webshop solution.

Dynamicweb implemented an integrated webshop and product configurator tied to Dynamics AX (including AutoCAD → bill-of-materials transfer, project labeling, document downloads and a mobile Danish/Swedish site), improving customer self-service and reducing administration. As a result Dynamicweb halved the average order-handling time versus phone/fax/email processing, cut costs, increased customer satisfaction, and scaled the pilot into a corporate rollout across 35 subsidiaries in 31 countries.
