Headless B2B eCommerce with customer portal and integration to Microsoft D365

Laks & Vilt, a Norwegian wholesaler supplying fresh fish, seafood, and gourmet specialties to restaurants and other food service customers, needed to replace an outdated, non-mobile-friendly website that drove customers to order by phone. This created too much manual work for the sales team and made online ordering feel too risky and difficult to use.

Working with Dynamicweb and partner Mennt, Laks & Vilt implemented a headless B2B eCommerce and customer portal built with DynamicWeb Commerce Suite and integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365. The new solution gives customers access to their own pricing, discounts, favorites, recurring orders, invoices, and order history, while sales staff can impersonate customer accounts to assist with orders. Dynamicweb helped streamline workflows and reduce manual work, and the portal has been well received by customers, with 50–60 users testing and refining the experience over the last six months.
