Case Study: Ambu achieves streamlined global B2B e-commerce and reduced manual errors with Dynamicweb PIM

A Dynamicweb Case Study

Preview of the Ambu Case Study

Global B2B manufacturer using DynamicWeb eCommerce and PIM for handling complex product data

Ambu, a global manufacturer of disposable equipment for hospitals and rescue services, faced a website redesign and complex product information challenges for devices like endoscopes. In autumn 2017 Ambu selected Dynamicweb 9 and Co3’s Espresso 4 turnkey solution and was among the first to adopt Dynamicweb PIM to handle extensive product data and to manage a global site landscape with country-specific editors.

Using Dynamicweb PIM, Dynamicweb implemented advanced product cards (feature descriptions, videos, hotspots), centralized catalog management, and granular user-rights so local editors only access their country sites. The solution streamlined editing workflows, reduced the need for dozens of special fields, improved local business processes, lowered the risk of manual errors, and made it faster and simpler for hospitals and rescue services to find and order the exact products they need.
