EIVA, a Denmark-based B2B supplier of professional marine equipment and training, needed an online solution to handle complex selling scenarios: renting hardware, offering software as permanent licenses or time-limited subscriptions (with variable pricing and discounts), and presenting extensive product information and media. They also required synchronization with their Dynamics AX platform to manage customers, licenses and support — a challenge they addressed with Dynamicweb (using its eCom and content-management capabilities).
Dynamicweb implemented a combined eCom and content-management solution: core product data in eCom, shared rich content (images, videos, long texts) indexed and linked to products, variant and discount logic for flexible licensing and subscription durations, tagging for related news, and full sync of products and orders with EIVA’s internal platform. The result was a modern, responsive site with Google PageSpeed 99/100, better product insights, easier maintenance and high customer satisfaction.
