Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor (BWSC) is a global developer and operator of tailored turnkey power plants, having delivered more than 180 plants across 54 countries with a combined capacity of over 4,000 MW. BWSC needed a website that would actively support the international sales process by making it easy for local developers and advisors to find applied technologies, financial information and project references that demonstrate BWSC’s experience. To meet this brief they chose Dynamicweb and its CMS functionality as the core platform.

Dynamicweb implemented a CMS-based site using repository items, facets and queries to power a front‑page “selector,” and used Dynamicweb’s import functionality to load map data and different item types—effectively leveraging Dynamicweb’s shop features without running an e‑commerce store. The new site targets local developers with tailored content, showcases BWSC’s technology neutrality and local presence, and uses the firm’s 180+ projects in 54 countries as documented references. The result is a website that better supports the sales process, communicates BWSC’s DNA and strategy, and improves content relevance for international partners.
