Austral, a Romanian B2B/B2C supplier, faced the challenge of modernizing its order-collection platform after upgrading its ERP to Microsoft Dynamics AX and wanted to extend its presence to both corporate and end-user channels. Dynamicweb was engaged to deliver a unified B2B/B2C e-commerce portal tightly integrated with Dynamics AX to replace the legacy ordering system and enable better catalog exposure, pricing and stock personalization.

Dynamicweb implemented a combined webshop and B2B portal with separate ordering flows, customized pricing/stock from AX, multi-tier approvals, and endpoints for procurement systems like PunchOut. The new solution optimized processes and drove measurable growth: total orders +35%, platform users +50% and average orders per day +50%, while all orders flow into Dynamics AX for centralized processing.
