Advania, a leading Nordic IT provider, faced a challenge when it phased out its internal IT department that previously handled employee equipment provisioning. To replace that service with a simple, self‑sustained process for new and current employees, Advania turned to Dynamicweb and its online store solution to manage equipment requests.

Dynamicweb implemented the solution by routing all equipment orders through the online shop, using assortment groups to create two request categories (small employee orders under a set price and larger manager-authorized orders with broader product access and ticket creation). The Dynamicweb setup delivered a hybrid self‑service/managed workflow with automatic ticketing, centralized delivery to headquarters, and has since been adopted as a product offering for other customers, streamlining procurement and reducing reliance on internal IT.
