Imperial, an oil and gas company, faced a challenge following a miscommunication incident during a lifting operation at its Kearl site in Alberta. They partnered with vendor Dynacor to develop a comprehensive and engaging lifting and rigging training program to improve safety and prevent future occurrences.

Dynacor created an immersive solution using 360° imagery, 3D animation, mentorship videos, and interactive assessments. This approach allowed workers to explore scenarios and understand the critical importance of clear communication. The result was a highly effective training program; over 4,500 workers have been onboarded with this training, contributing to a safer work environment at the Kearl operation.
