Covanta, a waste management and energy company, faced the challenge of protecting its sensitive Oracle-PeopleSoft ERP data and securing its network edge for a planned migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, all within a short implementation timeframe.
The solution, implemented by Oracle Dyn, was the Oracle Dyn Web Application Security suite, including its Web Application Firewall and Bot Manager. This cloud-based security solution de-risked the migration, provided greater visibility into web traffic and threats, and simplified management. Oracle Dyn enabled Covanta to successfully complete its proof of concept and migration to the cloud with an enhanced security posture.
