Judiciary launches a new website in September 2022 with dxw
The customer, the UK's Judiciary, needed to refresh its website to create a more intuitive information architecture and improve navigation for both expert and public users. The vendor, dxw, utilized its GovPress hosting and web publishing service to address this challenge.
dxw implemented a user-centered redesign process involving design critiques, workshops to shape content strategy, and multiple rounds of user research. They built the new website using the WordPress block editor, ensuring WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance. The new Judiciary website, launched in September 2022, is now much easier to navigate and won the Special Interest Group Information Resources Electronic Award 2022. dxw continues to host and support the site.
