Velocity Vehicles is a Polaris dealership in Whitney, Texas, led by managing partner Jeff Parent. For two decades the store ran on an inefficient pen-and-paper system that caused inventory confusion (including duplicate sales of accessories), required staff to search a 10,000 sq. ft. facility for parts, produced long lines at the parts counter, and relied on stacks of paperwork. Parent selected DX1’s Dealer Management System to replace that manual process.

DX1 was implemented to provide real-time inventory, barcode scanning, in-system parts ordering, and instant access to customer purchase history. The change eliminated the “50 sheets of parts paper and five or six sheets of machines,” cut trips to the back room, removed manual data entry, and let staff fulfill orders faster and more accurately; even long-tenured employees were productive within the first week. By putting inventory and purchase records at their fingertips, DX1 measurably improved service speed and the overall customer experience at Velocity Vehicles.
