Zirtue Improves Onboarding & Increases Registered Users

Zirtue is a mobile relationship-lending app founded to help friends and family formalize and automate small loans without awkward conversations. To service automated repayments and securely onboard and verify users on the ACH Network, Zirtue partnered with Dwolla and integrated Dwolla’s white‑label ACH payment API and associated tools.

Dwolla delivered a turnkey payment flow—including a Sandbox, dashboard and responsive customer support—that let Zirtue go to market faster (saving an estimated six to nine months of development), charge a 5% facilitator fee, and scale securely on ACH. As a result Zirtue saw nearly 4,000 registered users (four times initial expectations), more than $700,000 in loan requests pending, streamlined onboarding and the prospect of 100,000+ active users by year-end.
