Embrace Pet Insurance, a provider of customizable accident and illness coverage for dogs and cats, was struggling with inefficient, manual reimbursement workflows—processing tens of thousands of monthly claims with paper checks and a slow ACH process that required hours of daily data entry. To modernize payments and reduce cost and delay, Embrace evaluated payment vendors and selected Dwolla.

Embrace integrated Dwolla’s ACH/payment API (leveraging features like IAV and Next Day) to automate direct-deposit reimbursements; the integration took just over three months.
