PBS LearningMedia launches 35+ free classroom resources with d'Vinci Interactive

PBS LearningMedia partnered with d’Vinci Interactive to create an immersive digital learning experience for its Ken Burns in the Classroom collection. The challenge was to make the history of THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION meaningful and engaging for students in grades 3–5.

d’Vinci Interactive transformed the historical story of Betsy Ambler into an interactive experience built around personal letters, film clips, and authentic sound design. The solution, voiced by actor Maya Hawke, helps students build empathy and think critically about history. The project launched as a free classroom resource in February 2026 in the lead-up to the United States’ 250th anniversary.
