FrameTec Realizes the Potential of Prefab Framing with Dusty

FrameTec, a prefabricated framing manufacturer and installer, faced the challenge of costly on-site rework due to inaccuracies when manually translating digital designs onto the construction slab. This human error risked misinterpreting plans and misplacing precision-built panels, creating expensive delays for their general contractor clients. To solve this, they turned to the FieldPrinter from Dusty Robotics.

By implementing Dusty's system, FrameTec automatically printed highly accurate, multi-trade layouts directly from their CAD files onto the concrete slab. This solution eliminated interpretation errors, ensured panels were placed correctly, and provided layout for all subsequent trades. The results were dramatic: layout time was cut from 12-16 hours to just 6-8 hours per house, final corrective "pickup" work was reduced by 15-20 times, and FrameTec achieved a 100% success rate on their bids, crediting Dusty as a major factor in their growth.
