Dusty’s Accuracy Enables Complex Architectural Elements for KHS&S

The design-assist specialty building company KHS&S faced a significant challenge while working on the Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort. Their project involved constructing a highly complex, freestanding elliptical dome in the grand lobby, which required extremely precise and rapid layout. Using traditional methods for this intricate work would have been nearly impossible and far too slow to meet their tight deadlines, so they turned to vendor Dusty Robotics and their FieldPrinter automated layout solution.

Dusty Robotics' solution enabled KHS&S to complete the detailed layout for the dome's 160 unique panels in just seven days, a task that would have taken over a month by hand. The FieldPrinter accurately printed thousands of layout marks and text on the floor, making the installation process smooth and ensuring all components lined up perfectly. This use of Dusty's technology made the layout process ten times faster, drastically improved jobsite safety, and allowed KHS&S to complete their work on time for the resort's grand opening.
