Lazard modernizes its website for 26 countries with Durable Digital

Lazard, a preeminent global financial advisory and asset management firm, faced the challenge of modernizing its outdated digital presence for its 175th anniversary. Its previous website failed to fully articulate the firm's dynamism and global influence, and it needed to improve usability, accessibility, and multilingual support while also attracting new talent. Lazard engaged vendor Durable Digital to rebuild the site on Umbraco CMS, requiring a solution that would work within their complex Amazon AWS hosting environment.

Durable Digital developed a highly customized Umbraco solution, creating several custom packages to handle AWS storage, orphaned content deletion across multi-environment deployments, and the management of external financial transaction data. The result was a sophisticated, user-friendly CMS that provided Lazard's content managers with an intuitive and robust editing experience. The new website successfully modernized the firm's digital presence and the project won the 2023 Umbraco Award for Best Custom Solution.
